
Eindhoven, The Netherlands — Dutch audio manufacturer Aequo Audio is set to
debut a groundbreaking loudspeaker enclosure technology at the upcoming High-End Show in
Munich. Using a proprietary Nano material that converts vibration into heat, Aequo has developed
an enclosure design that minimizes cabinet resonances across the entire audible and ultrasonic
spectrum—from 1 Hz to 100,000 Hz—marking a world-first achievement in acoustic engineering.
This innovative technology will be showcased in Munich through two new loudspeaker models:
– ADAMANTIS – a passive 3-way design
– ENSIUM – a 500W bass-assisted 3-way speaker featuring a room and placement correction
system operating entirely in the analog domain
Both models utilize the same complex acoustically optimized 3D shapes, guided by Aequo’s
commitment to the “form follows function” design-philosophy, made possible through the
castability of the Nano material. Weighing in at over 100kg (220 lbs) per speaker, they are no
lightweights, yet they come with surprisingly large internal volume compared to size and footprint.

Live demonstrations of the Ensium loudspeaker will take place at Atrium 4.2, Room F.204 during
the Munich High-End Show.
