SAN FRANCISCO – With the Rolly Romero & Teofimo Lopez clash set for Saturday in Las Vegas at the T-Mobile Arena, it is rumored that Claressa Shields, the self-proclaimed “Greatest Female” fighter ever is contemplating “Making a Scene“ post-fight should 2-1 Underdog Rolly Romero (17-2, 13 KOs) pull off an upset.
ROLLY DOESN’T WANT TO BE “THE GUY” BEATEN BY A GIRL!
Reason being? Ms. Shields thinks she can beat Rolly in a “Female vs Male“ showdown. With a reported $7 million guarantee in play, Romero has balked by saying “Men Don’t Hit Women.” I can recall ex-champ Paulie Malignaggi appearing on “Ring Talk“ some 20 or so years ago and bellowing, “For that kind of money, I’ll fight my mother.”
ON THE OTHER SIDE “THE ERRATIC” LOPEZ CLAN
Teofimo Lopez Jr. (22-2, 13 KOs) & Teo Sr. are either mentally off OR they are running a game on the YouTube media by clashing with one another in public. It’s like the Lopez duo are a Ventriloquist act, with both father and son at times being the “Dummy.”
HARD TO TELL YOUR KIDS “I LOST TO GEORGE”
That being said, both Teofimos must still feel the “shame” in their losing to George Kambosas. And then Kambosas signed a brilliant two-fight deal with Devin “Hugs” Haney that resulted in scraps so un-entertaining that the fight films are being used by therapists to put “People on Meth to Sleep!” Was Teo (22-2, 13 KOs) hurt, not in shape, or was he just not there both mentally & physically?
TEO’S NUMBERS ARE “STELLAR” POST KAMBOSAS!

Most insiders were disappointed as they thought that Lopez had superstar potential pre-Kambosas. Since that setback Teo has went 6-1 and against guys who were a combined 219-11, yes 219-11. Standout efforts were licking WBO champ Josh Taylor & Arnold Barboza (both unbeaten) and Pedro Cantu (34-1) were some of the highlights. The only time Teo looked bad was in a SD 12 over Sandor Martin. AND while he lost his last fight in January, it was against undefeated and seemingly untouchable Shakur Stevenson.
ROLLY BEAT RYAN BUT LOSES TO “PIT BULL” & TANK DAVIS *
Rolly Romero is likely one of those guys that makes up for any pugilistic shortcomings with conditioning & heart. I’m not knocking the colorful Rolly, but he doesn’t have Blinding Speed or real Knockout Power in his hands. And Rolly apparently can’t handle power as Gervonta Davis and Isaac Cruz both iced him. And yet he upset Ryan Garcia last time out!
“TOMMY D” PREDICTS TEOFIMO RETURNS TO GLORY
The “Sunday Shot Caller” on Ring Talk Worldwide is “Sir Thomas” Dillemuth of YouTube fame, who is going with Lopez, again the 2-1 betting favorite Saturday night with both DAZN PPV & Amazon Prime PPV airing the card. ALL Pedro wants is a fight that people will be talking about for the right reasons next Monday morning!
DID YOU NOTICE THAT * NEXT TO TANK DAVIS?
In the last year and a half, undefeated Gervonta Davis has been on the US Marshal’s Most Wanted List, in and out of both Civil & Criminal court, everywhere but a boxing ring. At 30-0-1 with 28 KOs, his last fight, almost 18 months ago, was a disputed 12-round Draw with Lamont “Nothing to Write Home About” Roach. This same insect was “Stomped On” by new WBC 135 lb. guy William Zepeda a fortnight ago.
STICK A FORK IN THE “GHETTO URCHIN”
“Money & Fame” doesn’t make you smart unless you are a product of Ghetto Culture. Sooner or later, Davis will need some money and fight again. Until then, the odds are 8-5 Tank will be booked for something, as the 31-year-old “wasted away’ his prime!
