GIK Acoustics will exhibit at AXPONA 2026, showcasing its acoustic treatment solutions for high-end listening rooms, home cinema spaces and audiophile environments at location EX9131.
Highlights from GIK Acoustics at this year’s show include:
New Deep Bass Trap Panels: GIK Acoustics’ most recent launch – its expanded bass trapping range with three new deep-panel solutions designed to tackle uncontrolled low frequencies, and includes the Classic Bass Trap Panel “60Hz”, Amplitude Bass Trap Panel “60Hz”, and FlexRange® Bass Trap Panel “50Hz”.
The Amplitude range: GIK’s latest generation of stylish acoustic panels, combining broadband absorption and diffusion, is built around the company’s patented recessed plate technology for a clean, flush-fit look and strong acoustic performance.
Q11D quadratic diffuser: GIK’s new one-dimensional quadratic diffuser, based on GIK’s popular Q7D design, using an 11-root well sequence to shift voicing higher in the midrange. Designed for modular arrays, and specified with scattering effects down to 570Hz with even diffusion up to 3900Hz.
Sound Blocks and Sound Block StackPack: GIK’s scalable, freestanding option for critical listening spaces. The StackPack combines three Sound Blocks in a vertical tower, for high-frequency diffusion for low-frequency absorption down to 50Hz.
The new Bass Traps, Amplitude range and Q11D diffuser make their US debut at AXPONA 2026 for the first time in the North American market.
Alongside its product showcase, GIK Acoustics will also host two educational masterclasses at the show, titled ‘Why Your Room Is Lying To You, And What To Do About It’, presented by James Lindenschmidt, VP Acoustic Design.
The sessions will take place on Friday, April 10 and Sunday, April 12 at 2pm.
In this masterclass, Lindenschmidt will explain why room acoustics is fundamentally a time-domain problem, not simply a matter of tonal balance.
Attendees will learn how to read a spectrogram, what decay patterns reveal about a room’s behaviour, and why frequency charts alone do not tell the full story. The session will also explore the physics of low-frequency control, why effective bass treatment requires real space and proper placement, and how to separate genuinely effective acoustic solutions from marketing noise.
By the end of the session, attendees will leave with a practical framework for assessing a listening room, and a clearer understanding of how thoughtfully engineered treatment can transform a system’s performance.
James and the rest of GIK’s team will be on hand throughout the show to speak with attendees about practical room treatment, system setup and product selection for a wide range of listening environments.
