Montreal, Quebec, November 5, 2025 – Forte Distribution, a leading distributor of audio and audiophile music products, today announced that digital audio leader Eversolo will ship the new DAC-Z10 DAC/preamplifier/headphone amplifier in December.
Eversolo’s DAC-Z10 (SRP: $1,980) is a high-resolution DAC and amplifier that relies on precision engineering to reconstruct the signal path, refining every detail of live and studio recordings. Built on Eversolo’s proprietary Fully Isoated Architecture (Eversolo FIATM)the DAC-Z10 fully isolates digital and analog domains, thereby minimizing interference while preserving the purity of the signal.
Dual AKM decoding modules are the centerpiece of the DAC-Z10, powering each channel with its own AK4191 and AK4499 chipset. By isolating the respective channels from input to output, channel separation, dynamic resolution, and overall resolution are enhanced throughout the signal path. The AKM chip’s “velvet sound” architecture maintains ultra-low distortion (THD+N 0.00008%) and a wide dynamic range of 130dB, even when processing maximum-resolution files.
The internal layout features three independent linear power supplies that feed the left and right channels, as well as system circuitry, resulting in a more detailed soundstage and stereo imaging.
The headphone amplifier section of the DAC-Z10 automatically detects impedance and adjusts the gain to match. The DAC-Z10 delivers up to 1 watt into both 16 ohms and 32 ohms loads, making it an ideal match for both dynamic and planar magnetic headphones, without audible distortion.
Connectivity is convenient, with an array of options, including USB Audio, dual coaxial, dual optical, I2S, AES/EBU, and HDMI ARC/eARC. A multi-core processor supports DSD512 Native and PCM 768 kHz/32-bit lossless transmission, and the HDMI I2S input offers eight user-selectable options, supporting a wide range of digital sources from various manufacturers. To ensure a clean signal path and optimized sound quality, each input is electrically insulated to prevent ground loop interference.

The HDMI I2S input offers eight user-selectable modes to ensure compatibility with a wide range of digital sources from various brands. Each input is electrically isolated to prevent ground loop interference, ensuring the cleanest possible signal path and optimized sound quality. Qualcomm’s QCC5125 module, which supports high-resolution wireless audio playback, maintains a strong signal when streaming from low-voltage sources including smartphones and tablets.
“The DAC-Z10 takes Eversolo’s product selection to a new and much higher level,” says Roger Fortier, VP and Director of Sales, Forte Distribution, U.S. distributor of Eversolo. “Much of its design was conceived and developed in-house, giving Eversolo complete control over its creation. It’s the perfect match for their recently introduced T8 transport.”
