E-Glo 2 Tube Phono Stage Heralds a New Era for the Analog Faithful

Nesconset, NY, August 6, 2025 — Vana Ltd, a specialty distributor that provides the North American market with carefully chosen audio components from international manufacturers, today announced that the EAT (European Audio Team) E-Glo 2 tube phono stage with a step-up transformer is now available in the US.

“The E-Glo 2 is easily one of the most anticipated sequels in analog audio,” say Roy Feldstein, Chief Technology Officer (CTO), VANA Ltd., exclusive North American importer of EAT. “After 12 years, we’re proud to finally bring an updated version that retains the overall design and sonic signature of the original, but with newly added features that come as a result of customer feedback.”

The E-Glo 2 (SRP: $11,000.00), which, like its predecessor, is free of semiconductors in the signal path, employs a classic tube complement of four ECC83s and two ECC88s, giving users the flexibility to tailor the sonic signature through careful “tube rolling,” i.e. sampling a variety of tubes in the same socket in order to determine the best sonic output.

EAT’s fully discrete MM and MC phono stages are coupled with split-passive RIAA equalization, eschewing feedback-based EQ for a more transparent, natural presentation, accurate across the life of the tubes.

New to the E-Glo 2 is a balanced XLR input for MC (moving coil) cartridges. By leveraging balanced topology at the input stage, the E-Glo 2 achieves a notably lower noise floor and improved immunity to electromagnetic interference, allowing music lovers to fully realize the dynamic potential of MC cartridges.

Additional updated components include the acclaimed Mundorf capacitors with teflon dielectric on the output. Polypropylene film capacitors take the place of previously used MKP capacitors in the signal path and passive equalisation circuit, with ultra-low loss factors, and minimal temperature drift.

Like the original E-Glo, the power supply is remains separate in its own redesigned aluminium case, now visually matched to the main unit. A capacitor-multiplier filtered, FET-regulated power stage ensures rock-solid voltage for the sensitive tube circuitry.

“The E-Glo 2 is just the beginning of what will be an up-to-date series of E-Glo models,” says Mr. Feldstein. “It’s going to be an active second half for EAT, and a boon to music lovers who are ready to invest in a new level of analog performance.”
