Auer Acoustics will transform Room C119 at the M.O.C. into a meticulously optimized listening space
Loudspeaker manufacturer Auer Acoustics inspires high-end audio enthusiasts around the world with its speakers made from Tankwood. In 2025, the young brand will be exhibiting at HIGH END in Munich for the first time. Floorstanding and bookshelf speakers from the new Versura line will be presented in Atrium 3.1, in a specially constructed reference listening room, where they will be put to the test by the discerning ears of all visitors.
The aim of company founder Robert Auer is to come as close as possible to a true concert experience. From May 15 to 18, 2025, high-end enthusiasts will have the opportunity to experience the exceptional acoustic qualities of Tankwood speaker enclosures in a specially constructed listening room.
Tankwood: a symbiosis of high-tech and nature
All loudspeakers from Auer Acoustics are handcrafted at the company’s workshop in Amerang, Bavaria, Germany. The materials for all enclosure parts are selected based on acoustic criteria. The primary material used is Tankwood. This material, produced under extreme pressure, combines the tonal properties of natural wood with the precision and uniformity of synthetic material technology. Layers of untreated wood are compressed under extreme pressure with the addition of phenolic resin, using powerful presses to enhance stiffness, density, and uniformity. This results in beautifully shaped low-resonance speaker cabinets with minimal tolerances and exceptional long-term stability—ideal conditions for delivering a natural, lively sound.

The new Versura series will be showcased in the form of the V2 three-way compact loudspeakers and the V4 four-way floorstanding loudspeakers. Company founder Robert Auer will be present during the entire exhibition period from 15th to 18th May 2025, from 10 am to 6 pm. The 15th and 16th of May are reserved for trade visitors.
