Park Ridge, IL, November 4, 2025 – Atohm, the high-end specialist loudspeaker manufacturer from France, renowned for producing exceptionally performing products at remarkably affordable price points, has released the latest iteration of the company’s Sirocco series. The new range is comprised of the Sirocco 1.24 two-way stand-mount, Sirocco 2.24 two-and-a-half way floor-stander, and Sirocco Center two-and-a-half way center channel loudspeakers.
Each and every aspect of the new Sirocco models has been completely redesigned with updates that facilitate a significant technical and audible performance upgrade. Improvements to the drivers, cabinet enclosures, and crossovers combine with meticulous fine-tuning and precision manufacturing to deliver a level of linearity and dynamics not expected from loudspeaker products in this price class. The upgrades also yield an extremely low level of distortion and exceptional power handling, and were implemented with the primary goal of simply immersing the listener in music with all its intensity and emotions.
The Sirocco drivers and the improvements incorporated into the new models are the result of an intensive three-year development project. Driver highlights include: tweeters with 20mm diameter, lightweight silk domes, optimized waveguides crafted from die-cast aluminum, extremely high-grade ND52H neodymium magnets, and precisely calibrated, sound-absorbing rear chambers; mid/woofers featuring a “special” paper cone crafted of specifically oriented short fibers, LDS (Low Diffraction Surrounding) technology rubber surrounds, 84 mm diameter ferrite magnets paired with linearity-optimized pole pieces and a 25 mm voice coil, and Atohm’s exclusive dual TICR (Thermal and Inductive Control Rings) technology in the voice-coil pole plate. All drivers are matched to a tolerance of 0.25 dB.
The technical upgrades to the new Atohm Sirocco models result in a refined sonic character characterized by tonal accuracy. extreme linearity, an absence of audible distortion, and an exceptionally powerful and pure bass response that remains free of any artifacts.
The Sirocco crossovers, constructed of carefully selected components, each being painstakingly calibrated to meet exacting quality standards according to the application, are based on simple 6 dB/octave slopes and are complemented by impedance correction circuits to ensure sonic precision while making the speakers easy to drive and perfectly compatible with a wide range of electronics. The shallow slopes can be effectively implemented due to the time-aligned and phase-optimized drivers. The crossover also enables further fine tuning in the high-frequency domain through a 3-position switchable attenuator, adjustable in 2dB steps. This system allows the user to tailor the treble response according to their preferences and the specific acoustic conditions of their listening environment.
Maintaining Atohm’s commitment to the highest level of quality control, the Sirocco models are crafted with meticulous precision and exceptional care in-house in the company’s workshops in France, with each driver undergoing a series of rigorous tests to ensure its quality before being integrated into the loudspeaker cabinets.
The cabinets have also been updated, and now include Atohm’s SWD (Standing Wave Damper) technology, which utilizes a laminar absorption cavity and downward firing bass-reflex port, serving to effectively neutralize resonance and reduce standing waves to deliver a clean upper-bass and lower-midrange free of unwanted coloration.
The Sirocco models are available in a choice of four elegant finishes: oak or walnut natural wood veneer and black or white satin lacquer. The models are now shipping and are exclusively available through a select group of authorized Atohm dealers in the United States and are priced as follows:
Atohm Sirocco Center: $1,800 each
Atohm Sirocco 1.24: $2,400 per pair
Atohm Sirocco 2.24: $3,800 per pair
